“Would you like to learn horseback riding?” - my father asked. My heart warmed up. I was 8 years old and had never thought about it. Nor did I know anyone related to the equestrian world but, somehow, I felt so happy!
My passion for horses started at a very young age and it was during my studies of Fashion Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon that I started to learn about Riding Costumes, especially the Traditional Portuguese Riding Costume.After my faculty graduation, I made an internship at Maria Gonzaga’s Costumes, in Lisbon, known for the creation of beautiful costumes and wardrobe for TV, theatre, and film productions.
When I moved to the Azores I started riding again and fulfilled a long time dream of having a Lusitano horse!
Opening my workshop was crucial for the birth of my project which is now exclusively dedicated to designing
and bringing to life beautiful handmade and bespoke garments specially for horse lovers like me.
I am inspired every day by antiques, films and TV series, music, photography, art, nature, my family and friends, and of course riding my horse.
